Shirt Sense: 3 Ideas for Better Summer Shirts
Why Iron?
Ironing is not something I get up to every day. Or every week. So the no-iron shirts in my wardrobe end up getting worn more than any other. This one from Land’s End (via Amazon) is a great deal at about $40.

Tunics? A good idea.
If you are a big mama like me, choosing tunics in a flowing fabric skims over “problem areas.” At about $80 dollars, it isn’t the cheapest addition to my summer wardrobe. But I always like to allow myself one or two ‘key pieces’ per season. These end up being a value in the long term, as I discard my cheaper shirts after one or two years, but keep these key pieces for much longer.

Go Bold
Also, you can hide some of these trouble spots with bold prints. This pink and orange tunic from Lane Bryant is a great addition for the summer. It’s also $80, but will be more than worth it for all the use I expect to get from it.
These three shirts are the ones I expect to pick up to get ready for this summer. How about you? Any hot picks?
